Doors Open Waterloo Region 2026

 

We're excited to announce that St. Peter's Lutheran Church will once again be participating in Doors Open Waterloo Region on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Doors Open Waterloo Region is an annual celebration of local heritage, architecture, and community, inviting visitors to explore 27 unique sites across the region - free of charge. This year's event features historic churches, museums, cultural landmarks, adaptive reuse projects, and more.


Visit St. Peter's to experience our newly renovated church, thoughtfully reimagined through an innovative adaptive reuse project in partnership with Indwell's Magnolia Apartments.  Explore our striking architecture and history behind it, admire the Hallman pipe organ, and discover how our shared space supports faith, community, justice, and the arts.


Whether you're interested in architecture, local history, or simply discovering a new place in your community, we invite you to stop by. Self-guided tours will be available throughout the day, and everyone is welcome.
